I am thankful to be living in a country that offers free healthcare…well not necessarily free as I pay for it through various taxes but free in that I have never known any different. I was reading the other day that the US was going to start penalizing those people who did not have a minimum of individual health insurance?? How is that fair? There is a reason they don’t – from what I can gander, health insurance in the states is expensive. If it is a toss up between eating and going to the Doc…I know what I would choose.
