I had to go close my balcony door – IKE is here and wow the winds are amazing! It is blowing a cooler of mine that I have on my balcony around. Sure it is empty and not that heavy but pretty amazing! Bruiser’s freaking out a bit and cuddle up beside me like a second skin, lol.

I couldn’t imagine going through Ike when he was a hurricane like those in Texas – I cannot even begin to imagine what it feels like to go through it knowing that afterwards you may be lucky to have a home to come back to.

I’m pretty lucky that just closing my balcony doors makes it all go away.
