We have this really funky building, well two buildings going up right across from work. They are nick named the Marilyn Monroe’s for their curves and the design came from a worldwide architecture and design competition and I cannot wait to see them be built. My Dad pointed out to me the other day that Dubai actually has the coolest building going up; it actually spins, well slowly turns throughout the day.
Dubai is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates on the Persian Gulf and is slowly becoming a place to go for cheap holidays Dubai. It has a sub-tropical, arid climate and rain is infrequent. Between November and March, the weather is warm and sunny and in the winter the daily temperatures average around 23C. With this kind of weather and affordable prices, it is no wonder why people are slowly coming know the area as cheap Dubai.
A cheap holiday Dubai can consist of a number of actvities such as staying in the Al Boom tourist village, seeing a real bedouin city, visiting various archaeological sites (there are 3 right now), the gold souk (market…Dubai boasts on of the largest), etc.
Looking for something different…try Dubai – I know it has reached my vacation spot list. I’d love to immerse myself in another culture for a period of time. See other cultures rather than mine.
