This week I came to the conclusion that the payroll service my work uses has change to using call center outsourcing, even their email support seems to be outsourced. I think I first thought of it when I saw the name of the person assigned to help me make some changes to our payroll file but then living in a melting pot city like I do, I put it out of mind.
Then…I realized that every single time that ‘Shaheen’ emailed me back it was 1am or so in the morning. Now sure, the support centre could have staff that work through the nights but I highly doubt it especially in this economy.
The only annoying thing with our payroll service using outsourced staff, is that it took us a day each time to get a response from each others emails. Had this person been available and working in EST…the issue would have been taken care of quicker than a week.
