Last Thursday was our company pool tournament. I don’t play pool normally but I do enjoy it when I play. I’m not especially bad at it, I get the angles and what not, I just feel too short for the table to really get a good shot.
I ended up with a partner who was one half of the dynamic duo that won last year’s tourney and immediately told him sorry, lol. We did end up losing our first game which meant we were out for the remainder of the tourney but we were very close to winning. He though, ended up getting pulled for a few bonus rounds and got to play a few more games. Me…I just grabbed my beer and enjoyed the atmosphere and walking from table to table to watch the games.
One of my co-workers noted they had a table at home but they never use it…instead it is used as a ping pong table more often than not.
The night ended early enough that I was home just in time to watch Supernatural, yay!
