I read a couple of forums that deal with new condo builds in my area and that of Toronto to peek into the lives of those moving into fresh, new builds. I wonder how their PDIs went, how many delays their building went through and what kind of commercial fitness equipment did their gym get?

There is one board I peruse that is just one condo and you only have to register to read the posts. There has been some funky going ons in their building, from ice buildup in their balcony doors and windows, appliances not working, no hot water or no water pressure.

Is this going to be the joys of new ownership? Should I have stayed away from a new build? Sounds like I am in for a bumpy ride when it comes time to take ownership (Sep, so they say).
