I got strep last week. Wednesday I woke up feeling like I had been run over by a bus and then my throat started getting scratchy and sore late afternoon. Thursday I went to a walk-in and they wrote me a prescription for biaxin and said it was more than likely strep. I slept most of Thursday and Friday with puppy pee breaks and Saturday felt the drugs kicking in. Sunday I felt semi-human and today…like myself except for an exhausted me. More or less because I had managed to reverse my days and nights.
Tonight I decided that both Bruiser and Elvis needed to get out of the house and so for the first time ever I took both to the dog park. Elvis did great and was the centre of attention and Bruiser was himself. We stayed for almost 2 hours and now both are snoozing which is what I’m going to do shortly. Hopefully I get more sleep than last night.
