I have been in touch and even met with a realtor to sell my condo. I emailed last night for him to confirm April 22nd for him to come out and for me to sign the contract and ask if maybe Sunday would be better as the condo would be filled with light for good photos.
That was ll:30pm last night. He had STILL not responded by 4pm even though I saw on his facebook page he was happy to share a new listing.
I called another realtor from his company who agreed with me that that is not customer service and promptly took my info and is coming over at 3pm Sunday. That…is good customer service.
My life right now seems to be all about moving, decluttering, packing and unpacking. The latter was for work as our two locations consolidated into one and my agency moved into the building today. So today was spent unpacking my office and maybe 20% actual work.
I was/am pooped. I visited Target today with a coworker at lunch and my feet were already killing me; seems like I’ve been on them since Friday, oh…right, I have! I came home from work, admired my father’s flooring work, wall touch ups and trim painting. Then went for a ‘nap’ which had me get up at 9pm. I really didn’t feel like doing anything when I got up and almost talked myself into just taking the night off but I have a week tomorrow before we list so I got started on the yarn – under the bed it went (thank goodness for the purchase of the storage bed!) in garbage bags and then to the den I went to declutter and depersonalize the shelves.
Tomorrow I will tackle the kitchen!
fix problem area of floor in couch area – Dad
fix problem area of floor at entrance – Dad
buy area rug for area for staging purposes
buy a quart of Behrs Intellectual paint to freshen up one wall in the bedroom
- paint bedroom wall
touch up/repaint the baseboards in main living area
- touch up/repaint the baseboards in bed/bath rooms
- touch up island trim – wood filler?
Life is so very interesting. If you told me in early 2000 that I would move from Hamilton to Mississauga and live in a ‘penthouse’ I’d have called you crazy. If you said I would then sell the condo and own my own home with a large yard for two dogs I would have, I’d have admitted you myself.
But yet, here I am in Mississauga (moved here in 2007) putting my condo up for sale and looking at moving to Brampton.
Anyways…I need a list, things need to be done. I told my realtor I would be ready to go on the market on the 22nd. That is tons of time to get my condo in tip top shape, I just didn’t want to stress myself out.
